I have no complaints about the staff or service but if this mission is supposed to serve me there needs to be more parking accommodation for the people you service. The street parking can only fit about 5-6 cars and since half my visit time is spent in transportation and finding parking, this should be given more importance. Added to this, there is no crosswalk on a busy street for the many pensioners who go to process their Life Certificates. It is a inconvenience that we must bear for every visit.

Whata great experience. Got an appointment in one week. Went there with ALL the documents they required. I also took1-2 extra documents to make it even more authentic.8 days later my passport was ready for pick up.I applied for 5 days and they gave me 3 weeks lol.Give them everything they require and you should be good to go!

Terrible experience. These people are an embarassment to the Dominican Republic!Let me tell my story...In July of 2021, we went in to the dominican embassy as we were moving to the Dominican Republic in September for work. We went in looking to have our 2 children's Ontario report cards translated so that we could register them here in DR.Upon arrival, we spoke to Esteban" who assured us 100 times that this would be taken care of in 2 weeks. We didnt have american dollars on us to pay that day

They do not allow bags/mobile/smartwatch. Also there is no safe place to leave your belongings.There should be some place where belongings can be left safely.

I recently visited the consulate and the service was great! The staff (Margarida & co) were very helpful and informative from the moment I walked through the door. They were courteous, organized and professional, and ensured that the entire process went smoothly and efficiently.Clear instructions and guidance were provided for every step, and they made sure I had all the necessary information and documentation before leaving.Overall, I would recommend this consulate to anyone who needs their services. The staff are top-notch, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and the service is great, as far as I can conclude from my visit.
